About Dr. Christine Le

Dr. Christine Le is originally from England, and earned a doctoral degree from New York University. She has extensive experience with both children and adults, specializing inAutism Spectrum Disorders (ASD) and Down Syndrome since 1999. She is skilled in diagnosing Autism, and developing programs for communication, socialization,academic, self-help and career skills. Dr. Le’s expertise also includes anxiety disorders, depression, opposition, ADHD, obsessive behaviors, and help with life transitions.

Dr. Le is a published author, writing fiction, short stories, and poetry that have appeared in numerous journals including The Autism Perspective and Utmost Christian Workers. Her first children’s book,  The Hawaii Snowman, won a Pele Award and was number one on the best sellers list in Hawaii. Her children’s novel, Kingdom of Nain, is the first book in a Christian trilogy. All profits from the novel are donated to charities that help children, and to provide free books for children in need both nationally and internationally.

Dr. Le’s work as a psychologist and writer has been recognized by several awards, including the CARE Distinguished Service Award, and an Arts Council Literary Award. She lives in Homewood with her husband and two daughters, and is a member of Fullness Christian Fellowship Church.
