About Dr. Sandra Cluett Redden

Dr. Sandra Cluett Redden is a licensed psychologist with over fifteen  years’ experience working with children, adolescents and their families.  She has practiced as a psychologist since 1999.  She has specialized in working with children from birth to five (preschool age), but also has extensive experience working with elementary and adolescent youth, and with a variety of developmental, behavioral and emotional issues.

Dr. Redden  has an undergraduate degree in psychology from Stetson University.  She completed her graduate work at the University of Alabama at Birmingham in Developmental Psychology.  Her  postdoctoral fellowship was at the University of North Carolina, Chapel Hill, Center for Development and Learning.  Her training has led to expertise and specialization in the psychological and behavioral evaluation and treatment of children, adolescents, and adults with a wide variety of concerns across social, emotional, cognitive, learning and behavioral realms.

Dr. Redden has ample experience in the assessment and treatment of children and youth with Autism, Asperger’s Disorder, developmental disabilities, ADHD, Oppositional Defiant Disorder, and a variety of other concerns.  Prior to private practice, she worked at Mitchell’s Place in Birmingham, where she was integral in the interdisciplinary assessment and treatment of children and youth with (or suspected to have) an Autism Spectrum Disorder.
