·  The insurance that will be used to cover treatment.  

Please note that due to limited appointment availability and in an effort to continue to provide optimal treatment there may be times that Dr. Remick is unable to accept new patients.  

Dr. Remick is available to see patients Monday through Friday.  His appointments start at 7:00 A.M. and his last session of the day at 4:00 P.M. 

 

The office will file with the following insurance companies: American Behavioral, Behavioral Health Systems, Blue Cross Blue Shield, Viva Health. Please note the office does not file with secondary insurance providers. 

Dr. Matthew Remick is one of the original founders of Vulcan Psychology Group where he currently works as a clinical psychologist specializing in the treatment of children, adolescents, and young adults with a variety of mental health concerns.  In this position, most patients he works with range in age from 6 to 25 years.  Prior to moving to Vulcan Psychology, Dr. Remick served as the Executive Director for a Birmingham-based comprehensive treatment facility for children and adolescents with Autism Spectrum Disorders.  He has also served as a clinical director at The Groden Center, a New England based treatment facility for children and adults with autism.  He completed a clinical internship and postdoctoral fellowship at The Kennedy Krieger Institute and The Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine in the Department of Neurodevelopmental Disabilities.
